Thank you for your interest in a Parkinson Support Grant from the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota.
The Parkinson Foundation Minnesota Chapter relies on generous support from community donors. Since 2012, we have awarded more than 750 individual support grants to people with Parkinson’s to help them live better. Grants for exercise, respite care and help at home are designed to ensure people with Parkinson’s can live their best lives, now.
In an effort to maximize impact of this important program for all people living with a Parkinson’s diagnosis, the Parkinson Support Grant (PSG) program was suspended on May 31, 2017 through the end of the calendar year. During this time, the Foundation will be exploring the best approach to expand services for people with Parkinson’s throughout Minnesota.
The Minnesota Chapter Board leadership will announce a new framework for funding in late 2017. Please check the Minnesota Chapter Website for grant updates as they are available.
How this may affect you:
- No new Parkinson Support Grants will be awarded after May 31, 2017
- Grants awarded between July 1, 2016-May 31, 2017 will be honored
