Parkinson's Wellness Recovery Classes (Session Three)

Time and Dates: 9:15-10:15, Tuesdays and Thursdays (Session three will run from April 14 to May 21)

Location: Highland Park Community Center, St. Paul

Cost: $84 for the session (12 classes) or $8 drop-in per class

We are excited to offer the PWR! exercise program in St. Paul. PWR! (Power) is an evidence based program designed to assist people with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease to improve their posture, mobility, agility, endurance, strength, and function.  It is appropriate for ANY adult who is able to get on/off the floor without assistance. Individuals will work at their own ability level with adaptation made as needed.  Bring a yoga mat to class.

St. Paul Parks & Recreation is offering PWR! at the Highland Park Community Center (formerly Hillcrest) in 3 separate series of 6 weeks, 2 sessions per week beginning January 6, 2015.

Registration required for the series or drop-in attendance. Limited to 20 participants.

Pre-registration is required by April 17. A minimum of 10 participants is required to present this workshop.
