Join Nancy Lovaas and our Marsh program specialists for this 4-week cross training series and learn how to utilize exercise and Pilates equipment, incorporate breath awareness skills, and access warm water that can assist with increasing overall mobility, flexibility and functional movement. In October, Delay the Disease instructor Heidi Weinberg presented on the importance of daily exercise and the positive impact that movement can have on taking back control for those with Parkinson’s. Research shows that regular exercise can enhance the quality of life and delay the progression of symptoms. This program is based on that research. Please be in touch with our Marsh Aquatics Director Mary LeSourd at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org or 952-930-8511 with questions about this series.
Register online or call 952-935-2202. Caregivers are encouraged to come with participants at no charge. If the participant is not able to attend, caregivers are invited to attend at the regular program fee and take home the skills to work independently with those challenged by Parkinson’s or other movement disorders. $104
