How is the National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota funded?

The National Parkinson Foundation Minnesota  is entirely funded by contributions from fundraising events, donations, memorials, and bequests. We raise funds at multiple events throughout the year.

NPFM is a 501(c)3 non-profit.  All donations are tax deductible.

How are the funds used?

All local funds are used for outreach, education, support, and respite care for the Parkinson community in Minnesota and surrounding states.  NPFM funds Park Nicollet Struthers Parkinson’s Center, the Capistrant Center for Parkinson’s disease, and other organizations with trained professionals to deliver outreach, education, and support group leadership training.  NPFM funds families needs directly through the Respite Care Grant program.
